New features for SucShop 1.1.2 version

We are very pleased to announce the release of SucShop 1.1.2. In this version, in addition to maintaining SucShop’s advantages such as being lightweight and delivering extremely fast page loading speeds, we have also added many practical new features. Below, I will introduce these new features to you.
1 PayPal Payment feature
Although Stripe has become very popular, PayPal, as a long-established payment giant, still holds a very large market share and a vast number of users. Therefore, SucShop 1.1.2 has integrated PayPal payments. You only need to enter your PayPal Client ID and Client Secret on the backend Shop → Payments page (obtain your PayPal Client ID and Client Secret), and you will be able to receive payments through PayPal.
In addition, SucShop integrates PayPal Extended Checkout, which provides more functionality than the standard PayPal Checkout and will support major payment methods worldwide in the future (see the table below).

Note: According to PayPal’s official information, these alternative payment methods require an account eligibility review, and the alternative payment methods that users can enable vary by region.
2 Database Type Migration feature
Considering that many merchants initially use the SQLite database when installing SucShop for convenience, as their business grows and website traffic increases, they may wish to switch the database type to MySQL. However, migrating SQLite tables and internal data to MySQL is very cumbersome and prone to errors, so we have provided a database migration feature.
In SucShop 1.1.2, you can migrate all SQLite tables and data to a MySQL database with a single click on the backend Tools page, and likewise migrate all MySQL tables and data to a SQLite database with one click. This makes the process highly efficient and convenient.
3 Support for Purchasing Multiple Quantities of Physical Products
For digital products, buyers usually only need to purchase one item, but for physical products, buyers are very likely to purchase multiple units. Therefore, in the SucShop 1.1.2 themes (sucshop, easy-shop), we have added a quantity input box that allows buyers to freely enter the number of items they want to purchase.
For users who would like to obtain this feature, you only need to download the latest version of the sucshop theme and replace all theme files.
