Customer Story: How I Built a Profitable Side Business Selling Digital Products with SucShop

I used to be an office worker who had to wake up before 7 a.m. every day, wash up, and get ready for work. Although I lived only a few kilometers from my company, the route was extremely inconvenient. I had to walk for 20 minutes, take a 10-minute subway ride, and then walk another 10 minutes to reach the office.

This routine continued for many years, and gradually I began to feel exhausted and frustrated. I realized that I had to do something to change my life — I couldn’t continue like this until retirement. Because when I grow old, even if I want to make a change, I might no longer have the strength or ability to do so.

I didn’t have many other skills, but I was very good at designing UI elements and creating various interesting images. So I decided to make use of my strengths and started designing image assets. At first, I only posted these images on some social media platforms. Later, I accidentally discovered that selling digital products with SucShop was very convenient and easy to set up. So I registered the cheapest domain name, subscribed to the most affordable server, and following SucShop’s installation guide, I had my website online in about half an hour.

I also designed a unique logo for my site, saved it in SVG format, and uploaded it to SucShop. Then I logged into my Stripe dashboard, configured the payment API, and copied it into the SucShop backend — and just like that, I was ready to receive payments.

Now, as I continue to design niche but interesting image assets, I can earn several hundred yuan each month, and sometimes over a thousand. My sales keep growing, and I’m very happy about it. At the very least, aside from my full-time job, I now have an additional stream of income. More importantly, this business belongs entirely to me — I can make any decision I want, without reporting to anyone.

If you also have certain skills, such as designing images, designing templates, organizing data, writing e-books, or recording professional video tutorials, you can try using SucShop to build your own online store. Sometimes, things seem difficult when you haven’t taken the first step, but once you start, many possibilities will open up — and that’s the interesting part.
