SucShop Introduces Cookie Consent Feature to Ensure GDPR and ePrivacy Compliance

To further enhance platform compliance and user privacy protection, SucShop has recently introduced a new Cookie Consent feature. This functionality is designed in accordance with the EU GDPR and ePrivacy Directive. By default, only cookies strictly necessary for the operation of the website are enabled. All analytics and third-party tracking cookies are loaded only after the user has given explicit consent. Users can accept or reject non-essential cookies via a floating banner at the bottom of the page and may adjust their preferences at any time. This approach significantly improves transparency and user control, ensuring that data processing is lawful, compliant, and auditable.

Enabling Cookie Consent is straightforward. Simply navigate to Settings → Site in the admin panel and turn on the feature. Then, create a new post or page to serve as your Privacy Policy and copy its URL into the Privacy Policy URL field. Save the settings to complete the setup.
